The Railway Recruitment Board Chennai has announced online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Group D Posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Age Limit :
Applying candidates age should between 18 and 31 years (age as on 01-07-2018). Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules i.e, up to 05 years for SC/ ST category candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for Pwd category candidates.
Educational Qualification :
Candidates should possess 10th pass certificate plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT/ 10th class pass plus ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/ SCVT or 10th pass/ ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/ SCVT (or) equivalent/ National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. Application Fee :
Pay Rs. 500/- for General and OBC category candidates through internet banking/ credit card/ debit card. You can also pay through SBI Bank Challan, Post Office Challan Payment mode.
Pay Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman / PWD Candidates/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically Backward Classes. This Fee’s will be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in First Stage CBT.

- Last Date to apply online 31.03.2018 at 23.59 hrs
- Last Date for payment of application fee through online is 31.03.2018 at 22.00 hrs
- Last Date for payment of application fee through SBI Bank Challan (Off-line) is 28.03.2018 at 13.00 hrs
- Last Date for payment of application fee through Post Office Challan (Off-line) is 28.03.2018 at 13.00 hrs.
- Date of CBT (Computer Based Test) – April and May 2018.
Recently, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways has announced certain modifications of Age, Exam Fee etc. Now, the closing date for submission of online application shall stand extended to 31.03.2018.
