Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) is all set to introduce the concept of verifying the identity of candidates who applying for the forth coming exams through Aadhaar cards.

It is a known fact that verifying the identity of candidates during examinations is inevitable for fair conduct of examinations and prevention of attempts at impersonation. So making Aadhaar as a mode of verifying the identity of the candidate is easy and hassle free.

The provisions of the Aadhaar Act and the Regulations under the Act have come into effect from 14 September 2016 and notifications to this effect have been published in the Official Gazette. Section 57 of the Aadhaar Act 2016 permits the use of Aadhaar number for establishing the identity of an individual for any purpose pursuant to any law or any contract to this effect.

As a result, candidates wanting to apply for jobs in the Railways may have to have Aadhaar number henceforth. Therefore, candidates are requested to obtain
Aadhaar Cards which bears 12 digit Aadhaar number.

While filling up the online application form, the candidates who have enrolled for Aadhaar but have not received Aadhaar Card may furnish their 28 digit Aadhaar Enrollment ID, which can be found at the Aadhaar Enrollment slip. The authorities use the Aadhaar number to match the finger prints taken through bio-metric attendance system at the time and venue of the examination, with the number stored on the Aadhaar server to determine the correct identity of the candidate.

So Candidates who are desirous to apply for the Railway jobs shall visit the Aadhaar Enrollment centers at the earliest and get themselves enrolled for Aadhaar.

The above provision is applicable in all states and Union Territories of India except the state of Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya and Assam. Candidates applying from these states may be required to provide in the online application form, their Voter-ID number, valid Passport number, Driving license number or any other valid Government identity Card number at the time of applying for future RRB recruitment’s.

  • Click on the Para Medical Online Application Form,
  • It will open a new web page, then go to New Registration as mentioned right side of the page,
  • Select any ONE of the board of your examination, then click on Apply Now,
  • Then the application form is displayed on your desktop. Fill the primary stage completely in all respects, then click on Continue Button,
  • At the time you can get Registration ID on your mobile phone. Your Registration ID has sent to your registered e-mail ID also. (Note: Keep your
  • mobile phones, when submitting of your online application forms).
  • Then login with your registration id and date of birth for the next stage.
  • Enter your priority, communication details, educational details on the second stage
  • Then go to payment section (No Fee for reserved candidates), select your payment mode
